December 15th Llandybie to Llandeilo - Train walk on the Heart of Wales Line with Alwyn and Elaine

Come and kick the leaves as we walk this winter wonderland.

Join us as we march our way in the gloaming to Llandeilo.

Meet at Llanelli station for the 9.33 Heart of Wales Train’

Depart Llandeilo 16.58 arrive back 17.40 in time for Strictly.

December 22nd Lliw Reservoirs and Torclawdd with John Davies

 

 

The Lliw Reservoir And Torclawdd walk will start from the Lower Lliw Reservoir car park at about 10.15am

Walk off  your Christmas Indulgences.

Join us on The Annual Fun Filled Santa Trail . An easy walk suitable for all ages. 

For a treat come and meet Mr and Mrs Santa and if your young enough a Toboggan Ride. 

Meet outside Pembrey Country  Park on 29th Dec 2018  at 10 30.

January 2nd Burry Port with Teresa

The walk starts from the main free Car Park  in Burry Port near Railway Station.

Post code SA15 0LW .  The walk is about 5 miles C grade and aiming to start walking at 10.30 .
 
Gaiters are recommended as there could be one very muddy track.

January 6th Three Hills and Swansea's Lower Tawe Valley
with John Maudsley

Three Hills and Swansea’s Lower Tawe Valley. Sunday 6th January 2019.
 
The walk will start from the Northampton Lane car park , behind the YMCA in Swansea City Centre, at 9.50 am approx. and take about 5 hours, including breaks. Estimated finish time 3pm / 3.30 pm. 
 
The walk includes a number of hard-surfaced tracks, so should not be too muddy.
 
Post-walk refreshments in the St George on Walter Road, just round the corner from the car park in Northampton Lane. (The usual pub – Brunswick- is undergoing refurbishment).
 
The Northampton Lane car park can best be accessed from the A4118, Uplands and Walter Road direction into Swansea, though it is possible to approach the car park from Kingsway and Christina Street. Telephone the leader for more detailed directions. John Maudsley 01792 298354.
 
An alternative is on-street parking at the eastern end of Walter Road towards the city centre.
 
Please note : Car parking is free on Sunday in Swansea City Centre.
