Summary of Social Events Held During 2025

2025 has been a very successful year for social events within the LLanelli Ramblers. We started off the year with a Carvery and were entertained by the fabulous Philharmonics Choir, everyone enjoyed it so much we are repeating again in Jan 26.

In February Jeff and Diana hosted a Cawl lunch at St Marys Church in Burry Port, this was a great success attended by 62 people.

Again in Feb by popular demand we had the Skittles Night at The Three Rivers Hotel which included a fabulous curry meal,

In April we had a Twmpath evening led by Dafydd Evans followed by fish and chips, a really fun evening. Also in April we had a very successful cheese and wine which included a Bingo session with a quiz to follow.

During the summer months we had a Strawberry Tea at St Marys Church held by Jeff and Sonia and was attended by 60 members. Also a very popular BBQ where the weather was very kind to us attended by 73 people.

No events were held in September as many members were away walking in Kendal.

Returning to our winter programme of social events we had a lovely curry night at the Ali Raj in November. We also had our Annual Quiz night hosted by our chairman, last years Champion Team “In Our Prime” were triumphant again.

29th January – Philharmonics Choir and Carvery at the Pitch

19th February – The Twmpath with Dafydd Evan with fish and chips to follow

25th February – The Cawl event will take place in St Marys church Burry Port following the walk lead by Alwyn. The Cawl meal will cost £7 per person

20th March – Skittles and curry night at the Three Rivers Hotel in Ferryside

23rd April -The Cheese Wine and Bingo will take place  at Furnace Community Centre. £7 per person
