Llanelli Ramblers organise and host the annual Llanelli Festival of Walks which is a Spring Bank Holiday event that has attracted hundreds of visitors to the town from all parts of the UK and beyond since its beginnings in 1995 and has established Llanelli as a popular centre for walking.

2016 Festival dates – Friday, 27th May (Opening Evening) with walks organised for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 28th, 29th and 30th May.

The Festival of Walks is open to all, old and young, non-members and members alike and offers a choice of 15 walks – 5 each day – to suit all ages and abilities, in areas including the Rhondda and Gwendraeth Valleys, and the spectacular South Wales Heritage Coast. To round off the Festival, we end as usual with the traditional Welsh Tea.
