We have a variety of walks throughout the week to suit all ages and abilities. See programme above for walk details andTrimsaran world strongest man dates.

Monday Walks: Leisurely walks for members with bus passes. There are normally two walks each Monday, one for ‘Homers’ and one for ‘Roamers’. As the name implies, Homers walks are more local while Roamers travel a little further afield using buses to get to and from the start and finish of the walk. Members decide each Monday whether to be a Homer or a Roamer.

Homers meet at 10.00am at Festival Fields. Walks are 3-4 miles – see Homers programme. Further details from Eileen on 01554 741306.

Roamers walks – of three to five miles – normally start from Llanelli Bus Station (or occasionally the railway station) at various times depending on the buses/trains. Further details from Dave Quarmby, telephone 01656 716341.

Tuesday Tea Walks: These are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the summer and aim to finish near a teashop. Details are included in the walks programme.

Wednesday walks: These are the most popular walks, with up to 50 ramblers out most Wednesdays. The walks are generally shorter than the weekend walks, and may be taken at a slower pace.

Thursday evening walks: Take place from May to August. These walks are local and fairly short and are usually led by children. All ages are welcome. Come along as a family for a healthy, social evening of enjoyment.

Weekend walks: Are usually longer and more strenuous, suitable for the more experienced rambler. These walks can be local, but are often further out in the Welsh countryside.

All walks are led by members of the group. If you’d like to try a walk with us, pick out a walk from the programme which is suitable for your level of fitness and contact the walk’s leader so that he or she knows to look out for you.
